Mary Maxon

Associate Laboratory Director for Biosciences, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory

Mary Maxon earned her Ph.D. in molecular cell biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Her work has spanned the realms of the private sector in biotech and pharmaceutical industries to the public sector, notably as the Assistant Director for Biological Research at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. As Associate Laboratory Director for Biosciences, Mary Maxon leads a part of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory with enormous talent, capabilities, and potential.
