Jeffrey Furman

Jeff Furman is a professor of Strategy & Innovation at Boston University and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). His research addresses issues in innovation, science policy, and the strategic management of science-based firms. His work has been published in leading journals, including the American Economic Review (AER), the Review of Economics and Statistics, Organization Science, and Nature. Furman completed his Ph.D. in Management at MIT’s Sloan School, completed master’s studies on a Fulbright Scholarship at the Free University of Berlin, and earned Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and College of Arts & Sciences.
