International Bioeconomy Strategies
As one of its strategic goals, the International Advisory Council on Global Bioeconomy observes, documents and analyzes bioeconomy efforts globally. Over the years, this has developed into a state-of-the art knowledge base for bioeconomy policy and governance. The following publications and interactive map are unique in their timespan and global coverage and provide an overview of existing bioeconomy policy strategies and instruments around the world that seek
to stimulate, support and steer transformation dynamics towards a sustainable bioeconomy.
The latest 2020 report shows once again that the bioeconomy has become a true success story over the past decade with more and more countries adapting the benefits of biobased economies to their local regional conditions and developing dedicated bioeconomy strategies for this purpose.
