Bioeconomy Strategies Around The World

Over the past ten years, the bioeconomy has gained political momentum and importance worldwide. In its report “Bioeconomy Policy (Part III)”, the German Bioeconomy Council identifies 49 countries that have already initiated bioeconomy-relevant policy strategies – 15 of them, including the European Union and the West Nordic countries, have even published dedicated bioeconomy policy strategies. These can be accessed via the interactive world map. The individual country profiles are based on the following three reports of the bioeconomy:

German Bioeconomy Council (2015). Bioeconomy Policy (Part I): Synopsis and Analysis of Strategies in the G7

German Bioeconomy Council (2015). Bioeconomy Policy (Part II): Synopsis of National Strategies around the World.

German Bioeconomy Council (2018). Bioeconomy Policy (Part III): Update Report of National Strategies around the World.
